Which solution supports multi-location website performance testing?

I’ve been looking into website monitoring tools, and one thing I want to figure out is which platforms actually do a good job with multi-location performance testing. It’s one thing to know your site is up, but if load times vary by region (US vs. EU vs. Asia), that’s a whole different problems.

From G2 grid report with feature ratings, a few tools really show up here:

  • Better Stack: strong all-around on reporting + multi-site monitoring, high marks for location insights.
  • Pulsetic: well-rated for multi-site monitoring and location data, plus easy-to-use dashboards.
  • UptimeRobot: reliable uptime checks with decent location insights built in.
  • Site24x7: solid coverage across locations, helpful if you’re running global sites.
  • Dynatrace: enterprise-grade, deeper analytics + AI to spot performance gaps across regions.
  • LogicMonitor: strong monitoring depth, includes location-based visibility.
  • Freshping by Freshworks: covers the basics, good starting point for SMBs.

Anyone here actually using these for global or multi-region sites? Which tool gave you the clearest picture of how performance varies by location?

Also, for those already using multi-location monitoring, what should I actually be paying attention to when comparing tools? Is it more about the number of test locations, the accuracy of the data, or how well it ties into reporting/alerts? Would love some advice from folks who’ve been through this.
