There are plenty of upsides of using Filmora over other video editing software, I will highlight my personal best features.

You do not need to worry about having a super powered computer as you do not need high system specs like you do with other video editors, which is fantastic news for people that haven't upgraded their setups in a while.

Filmora is quite possibly the simplest video editor I have ever used, the software holds your hand and enables you to create professional TV worthy content in just a few clicks

The AI features in filmora are incredible,it just speeds everything up and helps you create pristine content in just a few minutes without having to have heavy knowledge in video editing.

My final favourite thing about Filmora is how affordable the base software itself is and there are constantly great offers on to make it even more affordable, in my opinion it really is the best video editor for everyone, you don't need to worry if you are a beginner, filmora has got your back! My only issue with Filmora is that the premium assets can be quite pricey and can be very overwhelming to look at, it would be great if Filmora had better filtering options so you can customize effects more efficiently.

Filmora has a large amount of free effects but I feel that more of the premium effects should be included in the base price.

The program is fast and efficient. Its interface is intuitive, and whether for amateurs or professionals, the quality is there. There are many tools available, and I am getting to use them all. There is an incredible number of templates available, and there are frequent updates. What I don’t like about Wondershare Filmora is that many of the good features are locked in the paid version.

Sometimes, when trying to use a cool effect or filter, it asks to upgrade.

Also, the export speed can be a bit slow on low-end PCs.

Another big problem is the lack of auto-save. If I forget to save my project and it crashes or closes, all the work can be lost.

What I like most about Filmora is its perfect balance between professional power and ease of use. You don't need to be an editor to create videos that look studio-quality. Wondershare Filmora is honestly one of the best video editing apps I’ve used. Even with just the basic features, you can already do a lot. One of my favorite tools is the keypoint feature—it gives me the freedom to create animations however I want, which is super fun and creative. I also really enjoy some of the built-in effects and animations; they add a nice touch to my edits.

Another thing I really appreciate is the ability to set a custom video size, which gives me more control over the final result. The AI features are also a big plus for me. I especially love the autocut tool and the AI sound generation—both are super helpful and save a lot of time. Being able to overlay images easily is another cool feature.

One thing I dislike about it is that when I'm blurring certain details in a video clip, I have to keep clicking on the blur mask again and again to move it using the arrow keys after pausing or playing the video. I used to edit my videos on CapCut, and it was much easier there. I could move the blur mask with the arrow keys after every pause and play without needing to reselect it.
